Angelina Jolie is adopting again. No need for this craze to stop as it is all for the good. They are adopting an
Indian girl this time. It would be nice if they keep the Indian name as well. How good is this?

Like any other day I woke up early today and had my brekkie while reading the news. It has been quiet some time that Madonna’s adoption controversy has been going on. Adoption has been the talk of the web recently starting with Angelina’s adoption of
Maddox and
Zahara.

The most recent adoption news that took to the airs was that of Madonna, and the media did not treat it with the respect it deserves.

The controversy has given people like me an opportunity to make up the mind in adopting a poor kid. Some might call it
buying the black. There was an
uproar from rights groups as well. Whose rights are they talking about I ask my self. A single child or children in general? What is wrong with helping a single child. If Madonna had given a chunk of her wealth as a donation as many celebrities do, the money would have gone in to the dinner table of the kings of those countries rather than the children who desperately needs it. We saw headlines from “
So now we are taking babies from Africa ..if they are cute”, Madonna
steals baby from
Africa to things such as …why didn’t they
adopt from US. There are rumors that the baby’s father
didn’t know about the adoption process. So much controversy that a good intention in helping a poor kid from a third world country has been tainted. Now, Madonna has come back, rightly I would say, and blasted those critics on
Oprah which will be aired world wide sometime tomorrow. She seems to have said that
"I feel the media is doing a great disservice to all the orphans of Africa, period, not just the orphans of Malawi"."Here's what I knew. David had been living in this orphanage since he was two weeks old," Madonna says. "He had survived malaria and tuberculosis, and no one from his extended family had visited him since the time he arrived. So from my perspective, there was no one looking after David's welfare."
I can’t wait to see the full thing. Even
Ricky Martin wants to adopt now.
I was particularly interested in adoption and babies in Africa, when I learned that one of my close friends was unable to conceive with a baby through normal means. Why Africa one might say. Everyday we see those kids starving on TV. And when people do help them, the media has something foul to say about it. Even while I was a kid I thought why anyone isn’t helping these babies that I see on TV. As I grew older I shed tears seeing those scenes and lately , I think when I see or read about them. Think a lot I mean. May be that curiosity in me as a child has helped me in making me realize how precious life and love is. If you are asking the question whether I would adopt, the answer is a big fat YES. When I am old enough to care for a baby and when I am ready (that includes financial status as well) I would adopt rather than have my own children and consider the ones who I adopt as my own children, care for them and love them dearly with all my heart. Genes doesn’t matter. Color doesn’t matter. Whether they came from my eggs doesn’t matter. All that matters is making a difference to a kid in need. Why not adopt?

Now not necessarily that i have an attitude problem. I got some interesting feed backs for a previous
post regarding my spirituality or unspirituality from fellow bloggers and non bloggers as well.
Simon suggested that i might be interested in reading a ceratin topic about humanism. And i did. See how compliasant i am although i am not a child (i do feel like a child many times. *the tantrums* grrrr..).Thats me. :)
hmmm. very close i guess simon. Have u seen the 5 postulates of humanistic psychology. They are :
* 1) Human beings cannot be reduced to components.
* (2) Human beings have in them a uniquely human context.
* (3) Human consciousness includes an awareness of oneself in the context of other people.
* (4) Human beings have choices and responsibilities.
* (5) Human beings are intentional, they seek meaning, value and creativity.
Dont they sound perfect. Well almost i would say, because nothing is perfect.
Worth reading more mate..from
here :)Does holistic or
holism ring any bells.
I still ponder on the fact why i reacted by saying all those percentages (for those who have forgotten ..well its just that i told some one that i am 25% muslim, 25% atheist, 25% bhuddhist and 25% Jew. )
I think all (not only the above mentioned 4) religions (not that i include the wiered ones) that exist in this world have their good points and bad points as well. So may be ...just may be ok... that what my unconscious mind told me at that time was that if i combine all the religions in the world and accepted those qualities that are considered as being "good" by the "what ever" or "society"...then that would have been a good answer to my friends friend. Thats all. Am i making any sense here because i am pathetic with my psych stuff.
good night sweeties. sleep well . muah.

Couldnt sleep. So i was reading this book that i borrowed from one of the prestigious libraries and found that some one had been underlining quiet a lot. Probably one of those students i thought. I started following the pencil lines and as i was making my mind up on where this guys research was leading to, i found the below mentioned line written bold in the middle of the book.
Hey pencil-head, observing your behaviour throughout this book i diagnose you a selfish, inconsiderate scoundred. grow up..
It cracked me up.

The answer is a half YES & a half NO. Today i was asked by a friends friend whether i was religious at all. This came up in a rather unusual manner as i wasnt expecting it to pop up in that particular place and time in that particular manner it did. Without even a second thought i replied to her that i am 25% muslim, 25% Jewish, 25% atheist and 25% buddhist. Now, i dont even know how i can explain this mess, as you all already know that i am a very
messy person. Even in that moment in time i asked myself "bugger....from where the hell did you come up with that". The answer is i really really dont know. My friends friend then went on to say that the concept of me being 25% atheist is
particularly interesting because the remaining 75% makes me a spiritual being and that it is not
particularly a bad thing. Now that pissed me off in a very
particular way (i havent got pissed off for a long long time..i cant even remember the last time i did). Who the hell is she to judge whether i am bad or good depending on a 75% or what ever. She was a moron anyway. It is funny though how silly i am being here at this time of the night. Writing about such a silly thing. Writing about it has made me feel good, anyway. Feeling good is all that matters. I know i am a good girl. And that is enough for me. Enough of that.
Went on a date tonight and i have to tell you all that it did went very well. Looking forward to seeing that certain person again.Long night though and feeling very tired. The good news is that tomorrow is an off day. I am planing to do nothing. Thats right. Do exactly nothing. Missy is going to off the mobile and unhook the phone line from the wall and going to sleep till i am fulfilled with sleep. Wait a minute. Being fullfilled with sleep eh! Now that sounds like as being ..uhmmmm..fulfiled with uhmmm..or does it sound like as if i am being deprived of sex or what ? haha ..Far from it sweeties. Anyway. So after i wake up i am going to have a nice long bath. Going to just snoooooze in the tub with no worries at all. Then i am just going to slip out of the tub and dry my body and watch Tv the whole day or watch a Dvd. Cook a delicious meal. Then go back to sleep again. I deserve a day on my own.
Good night sweetie pies. love you all.

Oh wait.. i did had a dream last night though. It was a scary one. I dont have scary ones often and i think its worth mentioning here while it is still in my head. Now.. now ..dont get scared...Its not too scary..Well.. in the dream i saw that i was in this red valley..red ...cos all looked red.. and suddenly out of nowhere the earth started to move and rose high.. i mean real high as i looked at it go towards the sky..the sky looked reddish as well by the way... not a land slip..nor did it look like an earthquake.. Hmmm.. funny how these dreams turn up sometime... may be i should give a call to
Freud. haha..
Nothing much happening. Allow me to tell you my day plan. Well.. i intend to eat a quick brekkie and head to work. At work the usual stuff. At work place..the mates can be sometimes hellish...it is a good sunny day so hoping to see everyone in a jolly mood there. First it was
Sex and the city. That was from the US. Well...now...
Sam and the City has come in to existence and it is from Melbourne. Sam has become the talk of the town, especially among us girls. Her blog has become so famous and inspirational that she appeared on TV recently. In search of true love?.. Her advice is worth looking into.. I know..... i know... There are a lot of M. E. N out there and i have been involved with some furious chit chat with a few of my M.E.N ( i have 3 at te moment and they arent that good..really sucks.. yew..not the Luv type..) regarding Sams blog. Here in Australia the men are really really mean. I mean REALLY mean. Not many nice guys and the nice ones are all taken.. sniff...snif...You may find a lot of blokes. Well i am talking about the typical
Aussie BLOKES who think that if they dont show any emotion..makes them more manly or shall i say blokie and appealing to us. How so not true that is. They are hard to understand.. i might have to say. Not the country types who are willing to love you for ever. No diamonds from blokes. No flowers from blokes. No chocolates from blokes either. Most importantly and seriously no Love from blokes. First few times they might ..and thats it....Well if any Maldivian "soru" (no blokes..guys..or dudes) are wondering what i might be thinking about them.. i have to say they are top and easy to handle.. i mean they are not THAT complicated...ey...
Any way...
Here are some excerpts from her well informative blog about relationships, sex, dating and most importantly about LOOOOOve.
Do you feel that despite the number of people you meet, greet and swap emails with, nothing ever eventuates? Are you left wondering, yet again, what the heck went wrong? Surely it's not you, it's them! Surely you're not scaring away every potential suitor! And yet you feel a looming sense of deja vu as you wait by the phone, incessantly check your text messages and ring your mates just to ensure your phone is still working. (Newsflash: It is.)
In another
entry she writes:
Women everywhere are left wondering why their man, a seemingly robust, energetic and fit guy, completely passes out once it's all over. And the men? They're wondering why the women don't do the same!
Bugger..she always hits it on the head. I love reading her entries. Luuuv it. Go sam go...
